ABZ C10 – two practical applications in cleaning facades and gutters
×

Modern cleaning of commercial and industrial facilities today requires solutions that reduce project time, lower operational costs, and minimize the risks associated with working at height. The ABZ C10 system combined with pressure washing provides a direct response to these requirements.

Below, we present two real-world use cases — described in a clear, technical structure: problem, common solutions, implemented solution, and results.

C10 – Facade Cleaning

Problem

The project involved a building facade requiring external cleaning. According to the owner, the surface had not been cleaned for many years, resulting in visible environmental contamination accumulated on the facade.

The demonstration surface measured approximately 15 m × 2 m.

The objective of the demonstration was to evaluate:

  • cleaning effectiveness,
  • system setup time,
  • energy consumption

using the ABZ C10 combined with a connected pressure washing system.

Common Solutions

Traditional facade cleaning typically requires scaffolding or boom lifts, resulting in extended setup time and increased operational costs.

Manual cleaning from ground level using telescopic poles is also possible; however, this method is slow and physically demanding.

In practice, these solutions generate:

  • extended downtime,
  • higher personnel requirements,
  • increased operational costs,

making them less efficient for short demonstrations or small- to medium-scale tasks.

Implemented Solution

The facade was cleaned using a battery-powered pressure washing system, enabling rapid deployment and efficient task execution.

The entire system setup process took approximately 15 minutes, including equipment preparation and initial testing.

During the demonstration, a 15 m × 2 m surface was cleaned using approximately 40% of a single battery.

The effective cleaning time (airborne working time) was 10 minutes, confirming high system efficiency for short-duration tasks.

Water was supplied through a standard hose connection, and cleaning was performed using a controlled, uniform spray ensuring even surface coverage.

The system delivered sufficient pressure to remove contamination without the need for chemical agents.

The ground unit consisted of a commercial 3100 PSI gasoline-powered pressure washer.

Results

  • Cleaned surface area: 30 m²
  • Active cleaning time: 10 minutes
  • Setup time: approx. 15 minutes
  • Battery usage: approx. 40% (1 battery)
  • Cleaning method: 3000–3100 PSI pressure washing
  • Chemicals used: 0 liters

The demonstration confirmed that the system performs exceptionally well in rapid facade cleaning operations, offering a practical alternative to traditional methods while significantly reducing setup time and operational complexity.

C10 – Gutter Cleaning

Problem

The project involved an industrial building with deep gutters requiring cleaning.

According to the client, the gutters had not been cleaned for at least five years, resulting in heavily compacted, hardened debris.

The contamination significantly restricted water flow and posed a long-term operational risk.

Due to the building height and gutter depth, traditional access methods would require personnel working at height, increasing operational risk.

Common Solutions

  • scaffolding,
  • boom lifts,
  • manual ladder access.

These methods require working at height, extensive setup time, and generate increased costs and safety risks.

In industrial environments, they also cause downtime and operational disruption, particularly when gutters are heavily contaminated and require prolonged cleaning time.

Implemented Solution

The gutters were cleaned using a pressure washing system mounted on the ABZ C10, equipped with a 25° angled nozzle optimized for gutter operations.

This configuration enabled effective removal of compacted debris while maintaining controlled water flow and precise cleaning.

The system setup time was approximately 15 minutes.

Once operational, the system completely eliminated the need for personnel working at height, significantly reducing risk.

Within approximately 1 hour, using 3 batteries, 40 meters of industrial deep gutters were cleaned.

The system delivered sufficient pressure to break down and remove hardened contamination without the use of chemical agents.

Results

  • Cleaned length: 40 m of industrial gutters
  • Active cleaning time: approx. 1 hour
  • Setup time: approx. 15 minutes
  • Cleaning method: pressure washing with 25° nozzle
  • Contamination type: heavy, 5+ years of compacted debris
  • Chemicals used: 0 liters
  • Safety outcome: no personnel working at height

Additional Notes

It was jointly observed with the client that regularly maintained gutters can be cleaned significantly faster using this method.

The client confirmed that implementing a scheduled maintenance program would be more time-efficient and cost-effective compared to reactive deep cleaning after years of neglect.

Summary

Both presented cases demonstrate that the ABZ C10, when combined with pressure washing, provides:

  • a rapid solution with short mobilization time,
  • a safer alternative to working at height,
  • a method requiring no chemical agents,
  • an effective tool for short-term and industrial operations,
  • a solution supporting a preventive maintenance model.

The system significantly simplifies operational logistics, reduces execution time, and enhances safety levels, making it a practical alternative to traditional access methods.
