How it works
After purchasing the DJI Shield Card, the user goes to the DJI site and activates the insurance by providing the serial number of the drone and/or the serial number of the camera to which the protection is to be assigned. The reservation is that activation must take place no later than 48 hours after activation of the device.

When an accident happens
1. The user shall report the malfunction and send the model to the German DJI service with a note that he has DJI Shield.
2. The user receives a quotation for the repair and decides based on this whether he wants to perform the repair/replacement for a fee or via DJI Shield.
3. After choosing DJI Shield, the user pays a fee and gets a new product or new spare parts.
4. The replaced product will be delivered to the user free of charge as a priority.
DJI Shield does not include:
1) Lost or partially lost camera, gimbal or accessories.
2) Stolen or abandoned product.
3) Damage caused by flying in inappropriate weather conditions.
4) Transmitter, accessories.
5) Intentional loss of a drone.
6) Housing damage which does not affect functioning of the product.
7) Direct or indirect damage caused by higher forces.
8) Damage caused beyond the validity period of DJI Shield.
9) Additional costs related to upgrading the model, improving its performance.
10) Damage resulting from modifications that do not comply with the recommendations in the user manual or from the use of incompatible batteries and charger.
11) Defects resulting from the use of unauthorised accessories, batteries or software.
