NO DELIVERY TERMS AND NO REGULAR PRICES
Both pandemic and geopolitical issues are already giving us supply chain problems in the drone industry. Around the world, we are seeing bottlenecks in the production of new devices. Key raw materials and components are in short supply. Already several times in recent weeks we have registered the unavailability of products in European warehouses of brands such as DJI, AUTEL, and YUNEEC. We have literally the last pieces available at the moment, and not all professional models. Such a situation in the last month of the year, which for business and administration is the peak purchasing season, is unusual for the drone industry. We know how many projects are being finalized during this period. Therefore, we recommend using drones that are still available at the moment.
PORT CONGESTION
For several months now, there has been congestion in important seaports from the perspective of logistics. This is especially painful for ports receiving shipments from Asia. This generates higher transport costs and longer delivery times. The culmination can be expected in the coming weeks.
DRONES AS CARS
7.7 million cars will not come out of factories this year due to component shortages. Behind the lack of available new cars is a rise in used car prices, already up 20%.
