Skydio Ascend 2024 was an incredible experience for us! We witnessed another milestone in the unmanned industry. We were impressed not only by the groundbreaking technologies but also by how Skydio presents its innovations in a clear and practical way. At Ascend 2024, Skydio showcased not only the Dock for the X10 model but also an entire ecosystem of autonomous tools that can work in challenging conditions and be remotely managed from anywhere in the world.
Solutions like the Skydio Connect Access Point, which enables the creation of a private network supported by 5G, and the Path Finder mode, which optimizes drone routes in complex urban and mountainous environments, left a strong impression on us.
However, what fascinated us most was the DFR Command Center, which integrates drones with body-worn cameras, speakers, and lighting systems. The new capabilities for monitoring officers' locations and seamlessly switching between cameras open up entirely new perspectives for operational activities. Automatic watermarking of footage adds immense evidentiary value.
The open discussion on the future of the drone market and the challenges posed by competition from Chinese manufacturers was particularly interesting. Skydio proudly reminds us that while Americans were not the first in space, they were the first to set foot on the Moon – a powerful statement about their ambition and innovation.
