WAR FOR THE FREEDOM OF UKRAINE
FIRST DAY SHOCK
On February 24, 2022, when Russia launched its armed invasion of Ukraine, so did most Poles and Europeans. After the first few days, this shock and sense of helplessness transformed into unprecedented mobilization and unification. In response to the war, in recent days Poland, Europe and the world have united in deep sanctions, political and in-kind support. Citizens are organizing protests and fundraisers from the bottom up, and politicians, artists, and public figures are expressing deep disapproval of Russia's actions.
NEEDED
DRONES WITH THERMAL IMAGING
We, from our own industry background, are observing a huge mobilization on the drone market, a flood of inquiries from all sides. Individuals, groups of people and companies, both from Poland and Ukraine, are urgently seeking devices that could help in the observation, search for missing persons, assessment and documentation of damage, analysis of the situation - mainly drones with thermal imaging cameras and optical zoom.
HOW ARE WE WORKING NOW?
Our office has shifted into a completely different gear. Priority is given to everything connected with supporting our neighbor, especially orders placed directly by Ukrainians. This mobilization is contagious and has been transferred to the European headquarters of Yuneec, which leaves us special stock reserves and goes to any lengths to send urgent orders almost immediately. As a member of Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems we are co-organizing #DronesNaWschód action, where you can donate your drone or parts and also support fundraising for new drones. This equipment is to be used for observation, saving lives and documenting damage.
