Guide

The flagship, all-weather Zenmuse H30 multisensor series integrates five key modules — wide-angle camera, zoom camera, infrared thermal camera, laser rangefinder, and NIR auxiliary light. Using state-of-the-art intelligent algorithms, it revolutionizes perception and imaging standards, surpassing visibility boundaries both during the day and at night. This makes it highly suitable for various operations, including public safety, power inspections, water protection, and forestry.
The Zenmuse H30 series features a 40 MP high-resolution zoom camera, supporting up to 34x optical zoom and 400x digital zoom. Compared to the previous generation, it can observe objects from a greater distance while capturing more details.
Thanks to DJI’s latest image stabilization algorithm, Zenmuse H30 effectively reduces jitter in telephoto footage, delivering stable and clear visuals for detailed inspections of power lines.
The laser rangefinder offers a measurement range up to 2.5 times longer than the previous generation, accurately collecting data on object position from 3 m to 3000 m, including linear distance from the camera, height, and GPS coordinates.
Both zoom and wide-angle cameras in the Zenmuse H30 series can switch to Night Scene mode in low-light conditions, enhancing the live view and recording quality. This ensures operational efficiency and accuracy at night, enabling continuous operation from day to night.
In Night Scene mode, the Zenmuse H30 camera supports IR Light for infrared enhancement and NIR illumination. It switches the live image to grayscale by removing the infrared filter, thereby increasing contrast between bright and dark areas to make objects easier to locate. When the NIR auxiliary light is activated, the zoom camera gains extra illumination, especially useful for covert nighttime surveillance and search and rescue operations.
The infrared thermal imaging camera offers a 1280×1024 resolution, four times higher than the previous generation, with a 32x digital zoom. This allows for both a broad overview and detailed focus on specific areas. At high zoom levels, the Zenmuse H30T automatically activates the UHR (Ultra-High Resolution) Infrared Image function, ensuring clarity of infrared images.
The Zenmuse H30T supports three infrared gain modes: High Gain for precise temperature measurement, Low Gain for a broader temperature range, and the new High-Res mode – ideal for observing objects, people, or animals with minimal temperature differences, making it highly practical for security, emergency, and search and rescue operations.
The Zenmuse H30T’s zoom and thermal imaging cameras support the Link Zoom function, allowing operators to zoom both visual and thermal images simultaneously while maintaining the same field of view. This side-by-side comparison improves object detection efficiency and saves effort.
In Smart Capture mode, the Zenmuse H30 zoom and wide-angle cameras automatically evaluate ambient light brightness and dynamic range, applying intelligent imaging algorithms. This ensures photos with natural light-dark transitions and rich details, even in high dynamic range environments, bright lighting, or low-light conditions.
In conditions like smog or high humidity, the Zenmuse H30 camera uses the new Electronic Dehazing function to enhance image clarity. It offers both low and high dehazing levels to match various operational environments and requirements.
All Zenmuse H30 cameras — including zoom, wide-angle, and infrared thermal cameras — support pre-recording. They can save footage from 10, 15, or 30 seconds before formal recording starts, ensuring more complete documentation and capturing key moments that might otherwise be lost.
